The internet is cluttered by millions of sites, many that are poorly designed, containing little if any useful information. They occupy space, consume resources and benefit no one. The aim of our Award is to encourage webmasters to create imaginative functional sites that value-add to the internet. The development of such sites will make surfing the web a more pleasurable and time efficient experience.

As with other resources provided by the FreeWorldGroup site, worthy applicants receive the Award free of charge. We do not require winners to post a link back to the FreeWorldGroup site - this Award was not developed as an advertising tool.

Our goal is to present the Webmaster Award to sites that excel in all areas of web design, web content, and functionality. We use very clear criteria to judge potential candidates as fairly and consistently as possible. We try to address all applications in a timely manner and inform all applicants of the final result (successful or unsuccessful).
